I wonder how QSpread fixed this problem when implementing the index items.
For a QPTR version of SuQcess I also tried to use the index item, only to find out later it didn't work at all.

I guess it's a documented feature (QPTR guide etc), so purely in that respect it should be included. But I do take the point that it's rarely if ever been used.

The setting is in User Control Panel -> Board Preferences tab -> Edit Notification Options in the left sidebar, the final entry in that screen has a tick box for both Email and Notifications check boxes for "Someone sends you a private message".

That said, I've also noticed I no longer get any PM ...
