I have never seen a screen like this on a QL....
This is a user in Italy who is having problems - any suggestions as to what might be the problem?
I guess it may be a ram problem....

Never seen anything like that before. I'd be looking at address line a6 - the green area apparently starts every 64 bytes (assuming it's exactly half the screen)

Also keep in mind that one of the 74LS257 chips could be faulty.

Also check for bent legs not going into sockets, had that problem with my Samsung QL last night.....
