That's loaded with Paul's standard boot program on sdc1_ Just remove the line that LRESPRs keyboard_german and you're done (or buy a proper keyboard ;) ).

Hehe I did that with help from XorA. I've never had enough storage to use a boot file, so it was alien to me!

Arrived this morning and debugged, it was one of the MB81256-15 chips that had failed.

Will have to build a machine with fixed expanderram + QL-SD tonight!

Great - glad to hear it is back up and running.

What's the going rate on 512K expansions? I priced out that I could make one with a certain cost, but it seems risky to me to make 20 or so if the possible gain is £100 but the possible loss is £600. If the market will bear the cost of a short run, I'd do them if they would actually find homes fairly quickly.

I can't comment on the going rate - I tend to sell second hand ones for £35 each if they have a through connector....

Okay. Seems reasonable then that a superior brand new one with thru-con - or internal leaving the expansion port free - could sell for £40 then.

I'll give it some serious thought this evening and discuss it with Nasta.
