That cut trace is fine - It's part of the Sinclair-recommended issue 5 board modifications, you can find those in the QL service manual pages C1 and following.

Hi there!
Yes, that cut trace is a std factory mod on the earlier issue boards. You'll note a couple of passive components are also soldered retrospectively to the underside of the board that complete that mod.

OqtaDrive 0.7.0 is available. Biggest addition in this release is support for Sinclair Network over the Internet, for transparently connecting Spectrums and QLs over the Internet using the Sinclair Network protocol.
