In any case the manual on which my random notes are scribbled is out of date, even if my handwriting could be read, sometimes I have difficulty. Wolfgang Lenerz curates the upto date version of the manual and provided an excellent series of tutorials that were in QLToday. These and the example basic code provided with QPTR and a specific project to aim for are in my opinion the best way to get into QPTR programming.
