Are there any tools to convert existing software to load from the EPROM - not sure if Jochen's Think and EPROM manager will do the trick?

True - Eidersoft is a case in point.

The main issue with copyright has been tracking down the copyright owners. I had quite a bit of success in doing this over the years, but unfortunately lost the time and inclination due to people bemoaning that I was keeping all of the software I had preserved to myself.
