Just found this thread today thanks to Marcel's tip in the FB group, to see that the discount sale was good until yesterday, damn!
The Apress page showed full price for the book, but I tried the "SUMMER55" coupon and YES it was accepted!!
Managed to buy a softcover book, shipped to Brazil at that ...

And I am one of these new guys and for sure plan on buying a Gold type card.
QLs are selling like hot cakes on eBay so betting a new legion of QLers would like to expand their BBQLs.

Since we got Internet, eBay, etc, it's easy as anywhere else... :D
But back in the 80's, in our closed market, very few were smuggled in... more popular models like the ZX81 and ZX Spectrum were ...

Power in is 9V from a standard 2.1mm power supply. If you have no expansions, a 500mA one will work. If you're going to plug a city of retro electronics into it, you might want a 2 or 2.5 amp 9v adapter. There is a power switch.
