Corrupt Programs

Post by RWAP »

I thought we should start a list of titles which have been partly preserved to date, but where one or more files are corrupt - hopefully someone will look at this thread and might find a copy of the program somewhere we can try to use to create a fully working program.

:D

* Astracom Modem Software
* CAD PAK by Datalink Systems (although we do have a copy protected one of this - protected with FLOAD) - we are missing the compiled v1.42
* The Dungeons from the Microdrive Exchange - written by Geoffrey Evelyn Jun 1987
* FROGGER by David Schlesinger (KS-SOFT from 1987)
* HARTUNG utilities (?)
* The Gee Gee System by Impacct Entertainments (this will be available as freeware)
* Coursemaster by Intraset Limited
* TOTO 13 by JceSoftware
* JOSS (?)
* Professional Poolster by Ocean Computer Services
* Pacioli by ZEATALINE PROJECTS LIMITED
* Plant Databank and Planner by Superplant Software
* QL Home Finance by Dialog Software
* Shrub Databank and Planner by Superplant Software
* Trivia-QLUE by RMG Enterprises
* Scriptula (?)
* TAB Editor - QL User Microdrive Exchange
* Task Master
* TaxCalc 1985-6
* TDI Pascal P-System
* TDI Fortran P-System
* Video Library

If you have any of these titles so may be able to help preserve them, let us know!

The program does run in its original version just on 128k. I think, it is absolutely programmed, although in MC. hf_ldr loads home_fin absolutely. There are ways to let it run with 640k I think. But there are a few other hickups. It just prints words with lower case letters (printout) and I remember of things like ser or par and flp or mdv. Would be good to have the source code.

I read "Video Library"...hmm, there was a program from the german QL Club, where there was a program of that kind (was a kind of commercial one), written by Dirk Nitschke for Runtime Archive. It is enirely in german. I have used it for many years, runs perfect. I have tried to contact Dirk via Jörg Noa (both were founder and first chairmen of the club) but did not have success.

I am not sure if you mean this program
