ROAD TRIP!!!!

Hi all,

I will be "out of office" from now until roughly 21st March. I will have limited internet access, and I will not be able to mail any orders until I return.

As it is a road trip, I figured I'd have a nice off-topic thread for it, where I could post photos and tell stories of adventures. My internet will be provided by those fine folks at T-Mobile, with a kind thank you to my iPhone 5 tethering and MacBook Pro.

My trip will take me through Lubbock, TX, Santa Fe and Albuquerque, New Mexico, Flagstaff, Arizona, Then through Bakersfield CA to San Francisco. On the way back I plan to take in the Grand Canyon, that crater in Arizona and the Petrified Forest, plus a museum in Santa Fe.

Let's see how easy or hard it is to stay connected from the road.

Installed in hotel in Albuquerque. Arrived after dark so no pics.

Very tired, after 13 hours driving 690 miles. Mot of that was into a 30-40 mph headwind.

Carried on driving until I got tired enough I knew I'd be unsafe if I continued much further. Woke up in San Jose.

San Jose is skeezy - everything, even bottled water costs 2-3x what it costs back home. Ick.
