Tankbusters by Sellasoft

I am surprised that the inlay for Tankbusters does not contain an address for Sellasoft.

It is one game I would love to get re-released - I know it was written by a D Sellars (Dave?) but can't find any trace - there was one possible guy I came across in Swindon - right sort of age and background, but he has said it wasn't him unfortunately....

Any other leads / ideas?

Original Sellasoft address was 22 Loveridge Avenue, Kempston, Bedford MK42 8SF (the advert says postcode MK42 85F but I presume this is an error)

Reviewed in QL World Jan 87 page 40.

Thanks - I will try dropping them a line - you never know - there is no sign of a house sale since 1990 at that address

The correct address is:

22 Loveridge Ave,
Kempston,
MK42 8SE

Edited: typo in address, and first edit was another typo!

Thanks Dave. I notice in the original adverts it seemed to alternate between 22 and 23. Probably cost them a few sales if it was a mistake originally in 1987

Hello,

Through LinkedIn, I've tracked down a Dave Sellars who is a software engineer at Dyson in Swindon. This D. Sellars graduated from the University of Bradford in 1984. His CV indicates that he was proficient in Assembler, C, and 8051 programming back in the day. If memory serves correct, the 8051 was a key component in the ICL. I may simply be making the facts fit a desired outcome and this may be a dead-end but thought you'd want to know if case you are still on the hunt.
