I have now received a license from Applied Research Kernel for their Spy and MasterSpy software to be released as freeware on the Sinclair QL Homepage (10 year licence) as below:

Take this as a ten year license from Richard & Angela Howe at Applied Research Kernel for the Sinclair QL Homepage (http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/downloads.html) to allow the free download of original assembled final versions of the QL Spy and QL Master Spy editors with scans of original related documentation without any added files or modifications. Please state that tech support will be limited due to lack of time.

We'll sort out the rest later.

Some more news from Applied Research Kernel:

If you can find original copies, you are welcome to add Archivist, Cardfile, Mailfile, and Librarian based on the Psion Archive RTM, and Stripper, and Mailmerge written in assembler, to the licence. Copyright retained by the authors.

The last version of Master Spy was 3.3 dated 1997-02-28.

The last version of Spy was 3.0 dated 1988-12-03.

I have Cardfile and Archivist.

Does anyone else have the other programs ?

Thanks to Urs, I now have a copy of MasterSpy v3.3, which is the most recent version I know of, along with the latest manual as a PDF. Available to download from http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/editview/index.html
