Does anyone have the ICE package, and in particular Icicle by EIdersoft?

I have just tried running Icicle under q-emulator, but it throws up various window error boxes - so I need to check if it is my copy or a bug in q-emulator!

I have emailed you a copy of all the ICE software.

I can only get the ICE Rom running as a Main Rom and Toolkit 2 as a Back ROM.

DId not work very well.

I did start to disassemble the ICE rom a while back, as with an update could give a windowing system on a 128K QL.

Thanks Derek - looks to be the same versions of the software which I have already unfortunately - it is looking more than likely it is a bug in q-emulator - did you try launching Icicle?

I was able to run Basic_Icicle by EXECing the file as shown here:

OK that is weird - admittedly I didn't link in Toolkit II - but had the ICE ROM linked in.

Mine starts drawing the outlines of the buttons / icons and then throws all sorts of errors.

What version is your q-emulator?

OK - it works on v3.1.4 - you MUST ensure that the ICE ROM is loaded as the BACK ROM.

I had assumed that the ICE rom file was loaded as a Back Rom.

I see you have a later version of QEMulator, do you what the changes are?

Unfortunately, no I don't know what the changes are - it is the latest version on Daniele's website....
