John Gilpin has made the entire first volume, all 12 issues, of the Quanta newsletter (as it was called in those days) available to download as PDF files on Quanta website.
Poor quality originals made it impossible to accurately OCR the originals, so he has recreated them as searchable PDF files.
Get the from Quanta website at http://www.quanta.org.uk by clicking on the QL Resources tab and then on Magazine Archive.

How did I miss this? Great stuff.
Love this form Vol1 Issue 1:
Come the next half term, my wife and daughters are off to Wales to the inlaws. I shall take the time to enjoy the full Vol 1 at my leisure

Just a note for those who are not aware.
The QUANTA Magazine Archive currently on the QUANTA website at the following address (as Dilwyn has already specified) https://quanta.org.uk/the-ql/magazine-archive-2/?cp=1
If you visit you will see that it has been slowly updated and there are issues from Vol 2 now.

Very nice work
I've a little question about the pdf related to volume 2 issue 1 feb 1985: it seems smaller than the others and at first seeing the even pages are missed; is it because the original magazine is in same condition?
Btw I really appreciate your work!
Grazie!!
Paolo

Hello Paolo, you will be glad to know that the gremlins at QUANTA website HQ have been dealt with temporarily, and that Volume 2, Issue 1 has now been corrected. Both odd number pages and even number pages now co-exist side by side in near perfect harmony.belg4rion67 wrote:Very nice workI've a little question about the pdf related to volume 2 issue 1 feb 1985: it seems smaller than the others and at first seeing the even pages are missed; is it because the original magazine is in same condition?

You can download the new file at the same locations as before.
Ring that bell, and say to all
