Maybe it is the drivers in q-emulator as it affects files stores on floppy disks and in windows folders...

Presumably the new SDC drivers don't have this issue

Never had any problem with level 2 drivers under Qemulator.

Can someone list the original ql-sd boot file? I managed to overwrite mine last night while trying to unzip a game

Thanks to Dilwyn, the QL-SD Starter Package can now be found at:
http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/qlsd/qlsd-starterpack.zip

The documentation there says: "QL_BDI.ZIP: Original image of the supplied SD card"

If you unpack this image and write it to an empty SDHC card, you will be back at the original. Alternatetively, you can use Qemulator to access the image.

I was looking at buying some more sd cards. Will the QL see a benefit from the higher speed classes?

Yes. There are significant differences in speed.
But please check for speed rates instead of class.
There are class4 cards that are faster than class6 for example.
Writing and reading also differs, select by your type of usage.
Kind regards
Paul

Ah! I've ordered a sony 30mbs one and a trancend class 10 which sounds a bit slower. There are some real fast ones on amazon but the prices are a lot higher.
