Expansion RAM Interface - What happened to it

Post by RWAP »

A while ago I had an unidentified RAM expansion which had a black housing, one main chip and a large heatsink over the exposed part of the PCB.

It did not work - as I recall someone had it off me for spares or repair..

Does it ring a bell? Whilst looking at some old QL Worlds, I think it was a later design by Simplex, so I could do with a photo to add to the QL Wiki :D

The picture in QL World is not very good - it is just one of their adverts unfortunately...

Damn - was hoping you had had the interface off me Derek

Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb :!:
