Thanks both for the advice. For now am going to continue with using basic as am used t it and it's giving me experience in its' use.
At the moment am weighing up if I need to include non-executable data files where such things as printer info is kept? Otherwise you would need to upload and link such to the already initiated ROM, and am not sure how that would work?
Such a problem would be the font files in Text87 (the original, smaller app).
Finally I tried a question on ChatAPT on using RPM, it suggested using MAKE_ROM which isn't in the download from the QL page? Apparently it finishes the process of making the rpm file to a rom image file, which I thought the rpm file was?
