Thanks. The firmware is only 1 version out of date but will give it an update to the latest to see if it makes any difference

Will also take my multimeter to it and see if the push button action works consistently with that

If I could get it working I’m tempted to just have 2 gotek in the Opus Discovery

Solved!

I did the flash update without any improvement, but as I was about to open it up again to check the continuity of the button press I realised the knob was at a slight angle

So I opened it up, made a very minor adjustment to the case so it fits thru easier and now it seems to be working perfectly with every press

Now to decide what to use GoTek #5 for...
