QL Software MIA
QL Software MIA
As said in another post https://www.theqlforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=5108, in recent months, driven by the chronic lack of sources, I have tried (alas, I believe) without success, to gather as much news and data as possible on the programs published for our beloved Sinclair QL computer.
I have drawn from Dilwyn Jones' site, Rich Mellor's and Simone Voltolini's lists, as well as the informations contained in the QL Wiki, in this forum and in other minor lists. I also included every program published on QL User and QL World.
Here is the resulting list of programs that are missing in action.
Regards.

Re: QL Software MIA
It looks like I have a copy of Spellbound 1987 Sector Software. Never realised it was MIA

Re: QL Software MIA
From a quick scan a fair bit of the software listed as MIA isn't (by my understanding of the term) really MIA, it's just not in the Public Domain (due to copyright issues)
Unless you mean by MIA "Not Public Domain + Missing in Action"?
e.g. I have the Sinclair Demonstration ROM

Re: QL Software MIA
I think at the time (some of) the sources were compiled no copies were known in existence and they were only known from QL mags etc, but over the last few years they have been found and recovered.

Ask me about felt pads - I can cut them to size and they have proven excellent for mdv data recovery.

Cp-mulator
Qtron
Bridge player
I couldn’t find “3D Slime” on any of the lists
I don’t really have time to go thru the lists but when I have time I can provide a list of what software I do have if you wish to check them off your lists yourself? (I imagine most will already be on your lists though)
Re: QL Software MIA
Yes please. Your list will be very useful. 3D Slime is included in the QL Software List.

This was my mistake (there are probably many others).XorA wrote: Mon Jan 20, 2025 3:41 pm It looks like I have a copy of Spellbound 1987 Sector Software. Never realised it was MIA![]()
You're welcome.
Re: QL Software MIA
Spellbound is available secondhand and now Dave B. is about, it might be available from Sector.
