Probably all of those! Mixture of speeds and sizes there!

I've used 27 and 27C (cmos) varieties. On a stock QL - the 200ns parts should be ok.

I've also used 32K and 64K flash chips with eprom pinout too

Thanks Pr0f

Have just been searching thru parts lists on the web to see what I actually have.

If I'm reading correctly they all seem to be 16kb, mainly 200ns but some 250ns. But I get the feeling I may be wrong from what you say above!

Many thanks

On another look at them - yes all 27(x)128 - so 16K size.

I thought I'd spotted a 27256 in there - but just my dodgy eyes! :-)

Many thanks, next up will be to try and burn a 16k version of the 68k/os utility Rom

The OS bin is 32kb, I'm talking about making a 16kb ROM of some of the utilities MD (as Medusa, on German forum, couldn't get my 32kb version to run from real ROMs)

This is the 16K MD Utility ROM, tested only in q-emuLator so far

Just in case someone with a 68K/OS board wants to give it a go in a real ROM before I get a chance (I've got to learn to use the programmer yet!)

Contains BAUD, COPY, DELETE, FORMAT, IOSSMENU, MEMMAP, RENAME, SPACE & ERRMSG.PROC

I understand. And how many were the utilities in cartridges?

Utility cartridge = 17 files totalling about 42kb

The ASM cartridge = 10 files totalling about 101kb

The 16K ROM works on the real thing!

I guess the next thing, when I can find the time, will be to try the full 32k ROM split over 2 x 16K
