You can try it for yourself. Here is a zip of the MDV image (will work with vDrive):
To run it, do the following:
- run the command (assuming you are using mdv1): LRUN mdv1_QLAmiga_bas
- at the prompt for device, type: mdv1_
- once both Lines and BASIC are running (BASIC just gives cursor), Ctrl-C to the upper left cursor and hit return
- now Ctrl-C to get back into BASIC and type your program (i.e. 10 PRINT "Hello World" : GOTO 10) and then type RUN
- now Ctrl-C to get back into the AmigaShell (mock-up) and there you can type QDOS commands including TK2 jobs
- note that channels 0, 1, and 2 are all routed to that shell mock-up so command output appears as a single window
To get the full Amiga OS experience, use the monochrome composite out feature on your BBQL (or use a monochrome display/B&W TV) to get it to look like the real Workbench 2.1. Impress your friends that your QL runs an Amiga
