Q68 Order Process
Re: Q68 Order Process
Beautiful case. I really like the new design! I wonder if a 3D printed version with maybe some branding on the top, could be created. I've used mine in a temporary plastic housing (tupperware) and haven't had any non-shielding issues.
Re: Q68 Order Process
Great work Derek. Looks great in the pictures. Looking forward to getting a Q68.

Definitely yes! It has happened before that you ended up with no machine.Derek_Stewart wrote: Sun Apr 30, 2023 8:45 am I have 30 Q68 Boards to build and have orders for 29, 1 spare maybe for me?

Good solution!Derek_Stewart wrote: Sun Apr 30, 2023 8:45 am I just got the QL Network circuitry to build and install in the upper part of the case, which connects to the Q68 Expansion port by a 3 pin connector.

Hi,
Just a little update.
My apologies for the delays.
Just a little update.
How about this: Here is a photograph of the first Q68 sub batch, ready to be dispatched: If I am hoping to send out 5 Q68, per week, assuming I can keep up with the work flow.bwinkel67 wrote: Sun Apr 30, 2023 9:17 am Beautiful case. Stunning, Derek! And Peter, of course. This deserves world-wide attention!
To think that this is the latest incarnation of a machine the "died" more than thirty years ago..

As it's nearly 40 years since QL was announced, I think we ought to be in the process of planning to have a "QL Is 40" international meeting. Special guest - Q68.pjw wrote: Wed May 10, 2023 3:52 pm
