A bit late with my response, but it would be very good if QTYP could be made available.mk79 wrote:I will bet my ass on the fact that Tony wouldn't mind this being available for free, I just don't have a distribution at hand.

Re: Knoware.no
Time of the month again! Thereve been another few changes at Knoware
Towers. A new "compatibility toolkit" has been added: The whole gamut of
PEEKs and POKEs from SMSQ/E are now available to Qdos (and Minerva, and Q-
Liberator). This means that a few more programs should be able to run on
all systems, and programmers neednt be quite so fastidious when using these
enhancements, which presumably were designed to make our lives easier and
our abilities stretch further without much effort on our part!
A new, compact version of DETAB$ was added; faster, leaner, meaner. Oh yes,
and WQRDLI is out in a new version! A tiny tweak to add our lost games to
the score file too, so we can learn from our mistakes as well as our
successes. Funny I hadnt thought of that before!
A few other tweaks and so on, nothing to write home to mother about.
See the Change log here.

Re: Knoware.no
Hi Per,
Very nice updates, I like the FI2 Tools, I tend to use the FI2 config programme, but it is quite tedious to use.
Is there an easier way to configure FileInfo2?

Re: Knoware.no
Hi Per,
Rather than using Archive, I would like to use Dbas database, maybe use Bob's Suqcess ...
Can Qspread be used instead of Abacus?

Anything that can import PSION export files should work, provided they also can export in that format again after processing. You can even import to M$ Excel, although I havent provided a tool to import Excel's export file format. Seemed a rather OTT thing to do..Derek_Stewart wrote:<>R

A new drop on Knoware.no today. See Changes for the latest.
Some of you may enjoy these new FloodFill routines.
I also wrote this piece about Mode32. If I have misunderstood anything, if you discover mistakes (or indeed bugs anywhere!) please let me know!

Software is dead!
Im thinking of winding down this operation after the new year. Pointless paying good money to give away stuff that virtually no one wants! Im keeping the domain name for a while yet in case I get another attack of foolishness.
I may spend less time on this forum too if I can help it. Shouldnt be too hard as Im soon going travelling.
So Merry Christmas to y'all and many Happy New Years!
