Hi everyone. I am very glad I found this forum. I have had a QL since 1985. I also have other retro computers, but I do have a soft spot for the QL. I always felt it was a very underrated machine.
I'm looking forward to adding a modern storage solution as the micro drives just don't do it for me anymore, and that's when they work.
I had given away my first QL to a good friend in the late 80's, and re acquired one about 5 years ago.
Anyhow, I am looking forward to spending time with all of you.

I never knew the QL had such appeal outside of the UK, until I found this site.

There are a few SD card solutions on the QL. With vDrive, you emulate the old microdrives and the QL thinks those are just external ones (so no ROM patches). Then there is an internal QL SD solution that requires a small mod (both in standard size and micro size).
