I see a flaw....no keyboard!
Makes a great keyring.
Cheers,

Why do they put lightning conductors on churches?

Is it just a plain box or does it have a specific purpose?M68008 wrote:Some 3D printing fun:
Really nice look! I tried to do that look for my mini-vDrive case. The grid on yours is so much better.
Re: A small QL
It has a purpose, I hope to show more pictures or a video once this little project is complete, for now I was just happy with the print. I'll also share the STL.bwinkel67 wrote: Is it just a plain box or does it have a specific purpose?
Thanks! For the grid, I used a 30 degree slope, the QL seems to use a similar angle:bwinkel67 wrote: Really nice look! I tried to do that look for my mini-vDrive case. The grid on yours is so much better.
Btw, I really like your vDrive case, although I might end up using the other one that doesn't require to modify the vDrive. One minor issue I had in printing it was that the first layer is razor thin and it didn't stick to my print bed. Perhaps you could consider making the starting surface wider?

Re: A small QL
Oh good to know. I hadn't had time to experiment with 3-D printing much since school has been shut down and I used our printing lab for all my projects. But when things get back to normal (hopefully by tonight or tomorrow in the US in one way) I will get back to refining the case.M68008 wrote:One minor issue I had in printing it was that the first layer is razor thin and it didn't stick to my print bed. Re: A small QL
Might fit. The size of the Qzero itself is 65 x 28 mm. (I designed it for a metal case from Fischer, because I have no time to get into 3D printing.)Pr0f wrote:That could be a great case for Peter's pi zero format Q68
Something like 65 x 50 mm internally would be nice, to leave some space for a few connectors. And 14 mm height for SubD / Mini DIN.
