Re: Apple Windows
Who would have thought! There is something useful you can do with Apple kit! <GDAR>

Why do they put lightning conductors on churches?

Hi,
Is that an Intel or PPC Macbook.
Would the Intel Macbook multiple cores, hold the window up faster?

Don't know about "faster", but like a QL, it might be able to manage multiple windows...Derek_Stewart wrote:Hi,

Re: Apple Windows
Same as on QL, there is only one primary, as TT has changed the possibility to let secondaries be outside the primary (that was in the beginning, the first versions of WMAN allowed this).Derek_Stewart wrote:...But, on the Mac, it looks like the system can only handle one window at a time...
That is the main problem, if you have a small main window and want to use menu_rext for file selection. You have to start a snd job to make a big window outline for that. Horrible and not understandable.

Re: Apple Windows

Inspired by Dilwyn‘s picture I fixed the real life „Leave Open Windows“ problem in our hotel room in Bristol on day 11 of our 2019 South England journey. Enjoy the summer, Urs

Re: Apple Windows
I guess a QL could let in a lot more fresh air (use short-side-up and if not enough, add some expansion cards).
(A clear downside for the Q68...)

The oldest computer was owned by Adam and Eve.
It was an Apple with very limited memory.
Just 1 byte and everything crashed!
