Your standard 68000-compatible DUART in a PLCC package. Look at those glistening pins. No tarnish here! Read that datasheet! It's got parities! Even ones! Odd ones! These are the best parities - everyone says so! You just can't go wrong with PLCC packages - they're smaller than DIP, and not as dumb. The smartest. And kilobits per second. It's got lots of them. Like, 115 or more! And the best bit of it? It's a DUAL UART, so it does all this, TWICE! I mean, c'mon, it's like "get a UART, and have this second UART, FREE!"
