Lawd, it was like having a second Mom, sometimes! "Go tidy your PCB!"

He did the schematic and worked out the logic. I did the PCB design, collaboratively under his watch. He is very precise and it took many iterations to reach a point where he was satisfied with the board and would allow release to manufacture.

I love him, but unkind words were uttered late at night.

That said, if I were to collect together his emails and publish them, they would be the definitive hardware guide to the inner workings of the QL.

Just one batch of ICs that needs to get here that might not make it, and is kind of critical. I can probably get them locally.

Aaaand, nope. One of the parts I was shipped they sent a part different to the spec they listed. So, the correct parts will be here on the 16th

So, I'll announce something on the 11th, something on the 18th and something on the 25th. One item a week. That takes the pressure off.

The first thing will be a couple of smaller items.
The second thing will be quite big.
The third thing will be certainly get people talking.

They will all be available seven days after last item gets announced. I won't take any orders before then, but I will follow Derek's system of expressed interest gets you a place in line.
