Hello all,
I am Java developer from Vilnius, Lithuania. In my childhood I had Spectrum clone which got me interested in Sinclair computers and history later on. Sinclair QL was probably the most interesting one despite its shaky history so I kept an eye on the news and resources around QL for many years. I am quite amazed how wealthy and lively community around it exists till this day (though maybe I can feel some decline in last years). I have almost bought an Q60 long time ago, unfortunately decided to delay the purchase without realizing that this decision would cost me an opportunity to buy it at all (wasn't aware that production was very limited). I must admit I have never used Sinclair QL or its emulators and its software except playing with QPC2 a bit. Probably the only contribution I can mention was translated Wikipedia pages to my native language (about QL, OSes and some major people/software). I am excited about Q68 and hope to have an opportunity to buy it. Still I believe I can involve myself more actively into community and joining ql forum is my first step. Hope to learn using QL software/emulators and possibly even some development.
Andrius

Re: Hello All
Hi Andrius,
I am pleased you considered purchasing a Q60. There was a lot of unwarranted adverse critisism of the Q60. Which an excellent computer.
Now over 10 years on, the Q68 is nearly becoming available and should have more positive support than I had in the Q60 production.
The Q68 design is so brillant hardware design. Peter Graf should congratulated for such an elegant design solution.
