QL DAM in 3D

Post by Cristian »

Hi,
I'm looking for the draughts game called "QDAM" or "QL DAM in 3D" (please see attached picture).
Also they talked about a "Q Checkers" coming soon. Could anyone help please?

Hello Cristian,

I have a copy of the QL Dam 3D. I am not sure of the copyright situation - if anyone knows if it's free now, I can place it on my website for download.

Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the other program.

Oh, the program really exists? I always thought that it was a fake as it was announced from Persoft.

There are a lot of programs where one thinks they are fake, but they are existing. E. g. PDQL-C and EJC (I have just written a nice calculator in EJC, which parses mathematical expressions like: (8+3*4+7)^(1/3) :-) Exercise: What is the result? EJC's val(...)-function computes it correctly :-)

GERMAN! QL-Download page also available in English: GETLINE$() function, UNIX-like "ls" command, improved DIY-Toolkit function EDLINE$ - All with source. AND a good Python 3 Tutorial (German) for Win/UNIX :-)

Hi,

I have never heard of `EJC', nor `PDQL-C'.
Regarding your stack calculator perhaps it may deserve its own thread.

I do have a copy of EJC. AFAIK it was written by Erling Jacobsen and distributed (and probably ported) by Jonathan Hudson. According to the readme files it is a full K & R compiler but not ANSI C compliant.
