Regarding DISA, Jochen Hassler very kindly directly sent me an update on 22 January 1999 to solve a minor bug I encountered. I don't know if DISA has since progressed passed the v3.04 I was personally sent.
Also DISA has a unique user ID associated with each copy, which appears when program first started. Once you become familiar with its features it is a breeze to take apart what otherwise looks like complex code - just point and click your way through it. Though you do need to be familiar with typical assembler addressing techniques etc. Easily the best value QL program I ever bought, given the amount of time/effort it has saved me!.
Perhaps it is still available from JMS ? Like EasyPtr, I doubt DISA sold no where near enough copies to reflect the amount of time, effort and expertise put into writing them (that also goes for SMSQ/E !!!).
ROM to RAM ToolKit Conversion
Re: ROM to RAM ToolKit Conversion
I guess the problem might be it's so long ago nobody really knows (or cares to be pinned down) on something they no longer have records or perhaps authority on.RWAP wrote: Maybe someone else needs to get involved trying to get responses out of Metacomco and Eidersoft.... as it might just be they don't like dealing with me (or more particularly a current QL dealer!)

Re: ROM to RAM ToolKit Conversion
Maybe they can be lured into releasing the product in to the wild by telling them "Prospero has just made their former QL Pascal compiler publicly available"?

I found Peter Mackeonis who was one of the people behind Metacomco on Facebook in 2014 and messaged him - he read it, but never responded, so I have sent him another message.
The chances are that it will be down to licensing issues...
