Happy Christmas!!
One of my presents was a gaming keyboard and on the back it boasted that it had 32k of memory. Our QL's can still hold a candle to some!

Merry QL Christmas
I still remember getting Metacomco Assembler for a Christmas present - I had bought the QL for myself earlier that year!!
Some years later I also got a PC tower case kit for mounting my QL for Christmas.
What QL related items did everyone else get for Christmas

Re: Ho! Ho! Ho! Happy Christmas!
For Christmas 1983 my sister and I got our first ever computer, a 48k rubber key Sinclair ZX Spectrum
After that for birthdays and the following four or five Christmases, I got various games
. One year (forget if birthday or Christmas, but I think birthday 1984) I got a Ferguson TX 14" TV, the computer compatible model that had both composite video and RGB inputs on two DIN sockets on the back
. I kept that going for many years (various dry solder joints repaired, a couple of capacitors renewed, gave up on the mechanical tuner buttons and connected it to a Panasonic Freeview "set top box") until I replaced it with a Panasonic 32" wide-screen CRT (which I still have and which still works, now a bedroom TV).
By the 1990's I had bought myself an Atari STFM (this was in my first year of college), so focus changed to that machine. But I forget if that included any software as presents.
It was not until much later that I decided it was time to see what the QL was like in real life by buying a second hand one. That came via ebay and had a SchÖn keyboard. More story here.

“There are four lights!”
Step up to red alert. Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb

Looking forward to summer in Somerset later in the year

QL, Falcon, Atari 520STFM, Atari 1040STE, more PC's than I care to count and an assortment of 8 bit micros (Sinclair and Acorn)(nearly forgot the Psion's)
