Re: Q68 on QL Network
NET 5 My Mac mini Desktop PC connected via IPNet
and, finally, Net6, My MacBook, also via IPNet
There's also a vintage Dolch "lunchbox" that has a second QXL card, but that's currently ripped apart for a mainboard and display upgrade
(Not all of them are always in use, though, so I won't ...

Re: Q68 on QL Network
Hi Dilwyn
Great you have fixed the problem yourself.
The Q68 Network circuitry, is basically 2 wires. At the Q68 expansion port the QL Network signal splits to QL NET and +5v through a diode. The line is GND.
The Network connection at the Expansion port is a push on connector with no lock or ...

Re: Q68 on QL Network
Hi
I have downloaded the new ND driver.
I do not have a Gold card or Super Gold, I assumed that they would work.
The QL NET from Q68 to QLUB using QPC2, sQLux, uQLx, SMSQmulator, Q-EMulator all connect together and with a Tetroid TDI Trump Card.
I have not tried GC, SGC, QXL, maybe something I ...

Re: Q68 on QL Network
Hi,
The Q68 Case screws are Trox T20 screws, ost socket screwdriver kit have this screwdriver bit.
The Network circuitry is on the form of a inline cable, which secured to the top case section. All the terminating resistor are shrink wrapped. Maybe the Network connector is not terminating the ...

Re: Q68 on QL Network
Hi Dilwyn
Looks like a problem with the Q68 network circuitry or driver.
But you said the Q68 acting as a server allowed network pass through.
This could indicate a software driver problem but also could hardware.
If you want to return the Q68 I will have a look at the internal Q68 circuitry.

Re: Q68 on QL Network
Hi Dilwyn,
I usually test each Q68 network, from a Trump Card QL to Q68 with the Q68 as a server.
I have not setup a multi-node network like yours, which I will do today.
Can you try, only 2 nodes on the network.

Re: Aurora Hardware Documents
Hi,
The files within the zip file are zip compressed as well.
The GIF Schematic file has some differences to the actual hardware.
I was trying to draw up a schemtic in Altium Designer, where I found some differences ftom thd PCB file.
I have tried to migrate the PCB file to KiCad, but the KiCad ...

Re: Can Aurora be safely powered from just 5v?
Hi Martyn,
Nasta published the Aurora schematic A4 GIF file, MACH PLD MACHXL source code on the now defunct YooHoo QL Hardware Groups. Ican not finc this anywhere.
However, I have taken a copy of the files. I am not sure if these files are okay to be published here or on the QL HomrPage, maybe ...

Re: Screen fault
Thanks everyone, sounds like I need to ship (from Aus), repair and ship back. It would be cheaper to buy a 3rd and have the 2nd for spares.
By the sounds of it my SGC is similarly gone. But it was having a 2nd QL that is more important, thankfully it was the 100 pound one that broke and not the ...
