Agreed. But for users like me, without the equipment or knowhow, fitting existing roms taken from a cartridge would be easier than trying to find someone to make a 32k.

You can populate it with 4x 16k roms, as well as 4x 32k - after talking to Simon Goodwin who owns one.
There's a few 32k rom images available though.

Anyhow, the Memodisk interface. Here it mentions that most of the routines are supplied on a separate rom cart, with minimal routines on the card itself. The cart wasn't supplied ...

I got mine for half that on Ebay recently on a buy it now price, 52 pounds.

Agree with your sentiment on letting others have a go. The same sale had a Quibide interface that I left for others to buy. Too many collectors have multiples of the same thing. An interest like the QL will only prosper ...

More bulky compared to the Disciple, but beats cassettes any day. I've just purchased a Cumana for my QL. Am still hopeful I'll get the mdvs working better, but I decided I needed both.

I haven't looked at doing serial to my laptop, but am hopeful that is a route to printing.
