Could you expand a bit on that? I'm probably wrong, but I didn't think that the messages were transmitted quite the same as an email is. It was direct from OPD to OPD with only the phone system ( no servers etc ) in between. I was 'messaging' long before I could had a modem and could get on to ...

For those with the 2 capsule set, the manual. I had to zip up the .pdf as it was too large for the forum.

A bit redundant now with the coming of Full Fibre Broadband. I don't know if there are any clever people out there who can get the OPD to work on the fibre but you never know.
Any way this is the Messaging manual.

Murray spent a long time compiling 27 pages of info on the OPD. Much of this has ended up on various sites but none are complete. I had a copy in print form but nothing on the PC. I thought ... quick job - just scan it all - run it through an OCR program and dump it into Word. 3 evenings later ...

The OPD runs the Psion Suite from ROM. Xchange occupies 5 x 32k Roms but includes some of the O/s. The OPD calculator is there somewhere. I don't know how different the OPD versions are or how they are distributed around the ROMs. I've never tried to take out individual ROMS to see what happens ...
