Re: QubIDE, interest?
Hi
Not for sale yet, just a topic to see if there's any interest.
I know there are more modern alternatives but is there any interest in QubIDE? I have built a couple of Leons design so 832KB total RAM and thru put connector or angled one for IDE.
Will have to verify if it’s possible to fit an ...

Re: QSound and QPrint Interface
Surprise, surprise! It works, at last.
The problem is that the schematics on https://github.com/alvaroalea/QL_QsoundQprint_clone/ and also labels on PCB are wrong.
Schematics and labels reads "27512" EPROM while the BOM states 2764.
When I replaced 27512 with 2764, it started to work great.

Re: QSound and QPrint Interface
some transistor have several "packaging" and the legs interchanged (I do not remember now, but something like BC107B and BC107C have same package but legs swapped) be aware of this.
In any case, the circuit is correct, the use of this transistor is to hold DSMC line high when the interface is in ...

Re: QSound and QPrint Interface
In fact, I've used https://github.com/alvaroalea/QL_QsoundQprint_clone/
In a desperation I even turned on the oscilloscope to see what's happening, without any significant luck.
My observation is that the CE signal for EPROM is not changing at all. I even tried multiple IO sets (AY, 6821, EPROM ...

Re: QSound and QPrint Interface
Hi folks,
I've put togehter this interface, but unfortunately, it does not seem to boot. I've tried multiple QLs, multiple IC sets, reprogrammed EEPROM with different ROM versions, to no luck.
Please, does have anyone some clues I could use (and not destroy the QL along the way?)
Thanks.

Re: QLCOMMANDER - testers and help needed
Can't seem to find the answer here but: Can QLcommander be used to modify file type, like, making the file executable? It might come handy sometimes.
While it's not exactly calming bedtime reading, there's an article on my blog about restoring broken executable file headers, either using the SEXEC ...

And you see, it would be a very useful one!Andrew wrote:No, it cannot do that. Never crossed my mind do add this feature.otis wrote:Can't seem to find the answer here but: Can QLcommander be used to modify file type, like, making the file executable? It might come handy sometimes.
