Well, here we go ...

The new membrane finally arrived. The guys from Sintech wrote, that these are from 2015. I only heared of older ones (2010) before.

The QL (german) is in a very good condition, but the keys are not responding.

Bought mine from Sintech, 'cause the other seller is not my cup of tea (only my own opinion, so who cares).

I'll take a closer look, when I open the QL. I hope, that the membrane is the only faulty part (except the microdrives).

Well, it arrived. The QL is in a good optical condition, but the membrane is broken (offered as working). I ordered a new membrane anyway.

Bought a working QL and my question is ...

Are there any special capacitors and other hardware related things, i should inspect or repair BEFORE seriously using the QL?

Motorola 6809e with 1MHz ans 128KB RAM :mrgreen:

An Amstrad CPC6128 and Commodore C128 competitor but with much less popularity.

Bought this one as "defective" but i managed it to repair this ...
