I patched Minerva and read works with a vdrive without the need of the slow command, now I need to fix write.
I also managed to read an old microdrive.

edited: Ok now also write seems to work.

I have good and bad news to report.

The bad news is that after the aurora modes and speed improvements QLion is no longer compatible with microdrives.
I had no working cartridges to test with but when I borrowed a vdrive I found out.
I'll try to patch Minerva to make them work but I'm not sure I'll ...

Thanks, one thing at a time, I don't have immediate plans to make any changes to the card for another use. Maybe later I could adapt the card to use the QLbase as a stand alone solution.

About the ESP as an add-on, I think and tell me if I am wrong that it could be a way to connect to the internet ...

Are you going to build a bunch of units and sell them to the community?

Thanks, I will make a few hand soldered for testing and when everything proves ok I'll consider building a bunch, I haven't outsourced the pcb assembly before.

This could be done if I add keyboard support through zx8302 emulation, but it needs many extra io pins.
To make the card totally stand alone is easier if I add a ps/2 keyboard.

The QLion Gold card is finished, I only wish to test it to more QL's, thankfully it doesn't use the QL's ram so no incompatibilities will arise due to the different QL's ram chips.

I added 3 aurora compatible modes so I can run smsq/e in higher resolutions and 256 colours, to achieve this I quit ...

I now managed the 512x384 in 256 colors and the 1024x768 in 4 colors

Yes I moved a window and it goes all the way down, it's ok

Yes it works, just needed to redefine the windows, here at 512x384 I want to see if I can get 1024x768 now
