Wow I am rich.... Looking at the value of my QL stock...

- A few months ago those QL Series books which I have piled up at the bottom of my book case went up in value from £1.99 to £25 - http://theqlforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=6& ... ries#p4361

- Now those 100 (or so) ZX8302 ULAs have shot up in value from £2.50 each to £35+ each - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ZX8302-ULA-IC ... 4ad2613339

Now all I need is for the 200+ second hand microdrive cartridges I have amassed for the preservation project to achieve their rightful value and I will be the first QL millionaire....

And just to increase their value, right now I am replacing all the felt pads on 97 QL and 27 OPD cartridges (and there were three empty cases, the horror!)

Of course - as original non-working cartridges will become more of a rarity!!

Wait, so, I'm destroying their value by restoring them? *gasp*

I wonder what the little ZX printers will be worth when new belts are aplenty? Nothing, I bet - but that's twice what they were worth before...

Those zx printers go randomly from a few pence to 30 quid. Its totally mad!

He's also seeling some BBC ULAs for over the top prices too, after all Beebs are still pretty common as there where loads of the manufactured, so easy enough just to pick up a second hand machine for spares at that price.

Just like ZX80s are not actually that rare....IIRC somewhere around 80,000 where made

Oh the vagaries of the "stock market" - woke up this morning and this book is less than 10% of what it was yesterday.. (it started at around £185 !!)

Must have been a 'QL Bubble'

Still £15 is way over the top for this!

I've looked on Sell My Retro for these £1 books but cant find them, are they still available?

Yes they are still available - I need to sort through my book pile and ensure that I have all the ones on my shelves listed for sale
