Does anyone know anything about the game WERNER by Karl Shafer?
I came across this game - it seems to be a variant on Boulderdash -see screenshot.
It is in German - but fast and furious.

Rich,
That game used to be the one of the top-sellers of the long-gone German QL User Club.
And the name would be spelled "Schäfer", or "Schaefer" .
Werner used to be a bike-riding Comic Strip character quite famous in the 90ies over here.
And I'm not sure if it would be legal in all countries because it's about dropping boulders onto cops who will miraculously transform into beer crates then
According to the README there should be a sprite and a level editor included, the author says it was his first ever assembler program written in about a week.

Sorry about the spelling - I could find the a with umlaut character..
What are the chances of getting this released as freeware?
