Printer Cable for SGC

I was wondering if anyone has an original working Printer cable that came with a Super Gold Card they would be willing to sell please?
I've made a working cable assembly, but it's a bit of a Frankenstein in appearance (would be better suited to a PC case). Maybe I'll have to try and build a Mk2 though
I've no idea what the original even looked like as there doesn't seem to be any images on the web
Many thanks

Any standard “header parallel printer cable” (flat cable, motherboard header) should fit and work.
There was no need to produce one specific for SGC.

When I bought my SuperGold Card, I don't think it came with a cable.
Parallel printer cables were as abundant in those days as USB Chargers are today...
I used a 1:1 IDC flat cable that was a leftover from a ZX Spectrum printer adventure - that's a simple 1:1 construction.

Thanks, but I think that’s pretty much what I’ve done (with the necessary wires cut) so I have 26 pin (SGC end) to 25 pin header cable and that is then plugged in to a standard PC centronics cable. But it’s not pretty and am really looking for an all in one cable (like the one I believe was included with the SGC by Miracle, according to the adverts I’ve seen) I.e. just a single cable with a plug at each end
Many thanks

The adverts seem to suggest it was supplied with one, but what you describe is pretty much what I’m looking for
I’ll have another hunt for the centronics plug, I had just assumed cables etc got crossed over to different pins at the centronics end but if it’s 1:1 that should be simple enough even for me!
Thanks

And much nicer non-flat (non-ribbon) cables are to find, too.
Like this one:

But may require Cannon <-> Centronics adaptor.

Hi,
I remember correctly Miracle Sytems did not supply a Parallel port cable for the Super Gold Card, maybe a 3rg Party supplier, like Qubbesoft, added a Parallel Port Cable as an option.
I had to mak one for the Super Gold Cards I had in the past.
I think it was a straight IDC to DB25 connector with some lines in the IDC cable cut. I will see if I have a cable that I made 20 odd years ago.

Hi Derek,
Thanks, but that sounds like the cable I’ve made. If it was a 3rd party that supplied the SGC with a printer cable then they’ll be even rarer than I thought so I guess I may as well stick with the cable I’ve made for now
Many thanks though

This is the one I've made (it's not plugged into the floppy socket as it looks in the picture!)

looks the same, except, I offset the gaps in the cable.
Do you connect it to a printer or RetroPrinter unit?
