Nice read. Had a BBC Micro model B back in the 1980s, plus one with a Z80 second processor unit in work at the time. Quite a beast in its day.

I picked one up a while back with an SSD adapter. Good fun playing all the old classics again (we had Beebs at school, it was the first computer I coded). There is something about that baaa-beeep sound when you switch it on. Takes me right back to the school computer room!
