Hello,

Inspecting the underside of a SGC a few moments ago, I noticed a dedication etched/printed into the board: To Dawn.

Who is Dawn?

I don't know who this particular Dawn is, but I once sat up all night wondering where the sun came from. Then it dawned on me! :D :D :D

I'll get my coat.

Cheers,
Norm.

Hi folks,
Dawn - is the name of Mike Tomlinson’s wife. He was a member of Stuart Honeyball’s Goldcard crew.
A very human thought.

From memory I think the (non Super) Gold Card also has a dedication to Dawn in the form of 'Hi Dawn' on it.

My old 'red' gold card had that on it, with the exclamation mark.

And when the GC was released, they were not married yet - She still, however, did marry him afterwards, sho apparently she was pleased ;)

Ha ha, set a new trend of "must have the version with exclamation mark on it"... :ugeek:

Mine has the "!" too, I expect they probably all do. I just forgot it was there without looking.

Sincerely, that is so sweet.

Now switching to humor.... We could start a whole new trend: "With This Printed Circuit Board, I Thee Wed."

This trend for marking PC's has even migrated to Silicon - there are a few chips designs out in the wild with various messages etched into their silicon:
