Sinclair QL Design and Production Review by a CTO

Hi QLers,

Yes, I'm still enjoying the Sinclair hobby. Just last week I took a bunch of QLs to the office, where we are currently having a design and production review of our top-seller product, an AIO POS-PC with Touch-Screen. In the kick-off session I used those QLs to give my team a bold view of what is good design and what bad, and that the same design faults are being made over and over again.

After work, before packing all the QL stuff away, I used the scenery to shot a purely QL related Design and Production Review video. Here it is:

Enjoy the summer and stay healthy!

Cheers, Urs

Nice to hear a Switzerland english accent, I know it, where we formerly met. I still have your QL, you have sent to me in the 90`s (with Markus) and it works. What I miss, would be the software, TT has crumbled together for the Futura or his QLT. We have pics of the hardware, but we do not know, what was the state of the software in these times. Just QRAM and QLiberator? Or a bit more? Was the QJump Mouse developed during Sinclair times or really just later?

Great job as usual!

I've seen that you have a "German 128K" Speccy with DB9 port: well I think in 2016/17 I've bought from a German guy the Speccy 128k Keypad (UK version) and I left to him the 128k because I just have one perfect/new here. Well I think that 128K was a German one with the DB9 port too.
