I got my vDrive and try to configure it to use it. Sadly I cannot format any of the created images. I get always format error at the end.
I have tried following:
- change SD cards (different sizes and types)
- change ROMs (Minerva, JS etc.)
- even change QLs (I tried three different ones, English, German and Spanish versions)
with no effect.
Every time I am not able to format the image.

Any suggestions? Many thanks in advance.

Hi,

I've also replied on SMR. In the meantime I'll need a few details:

1. QL board issue

2. After the format failure, enter VINFO and report if there is any error code listed

3. I expect this has already been done, but check the cable and clean the connectors.

4. Copy a known MDV image (you can get some from http://www.dilwyn.me.uk/vdrive/index.html) and see if it loads OK and if you can write to it.
