Yes, at least CST sell a SCSI card, and the Thor computer also use a similar interface (AFAIK only compatible with one model of HDD and no more).
There is very small information of it on internet anyway.
I'd be interested to know what the software on this SCSI hard drive is like. Was the software also written by TT and works similarly to today's? At least the file type of the directories on the Thor was (file type 3) instead of the later 255.

It sure does. I have one of those Sony cassette decks that's all plastic...and it works perfectly fine. However, I do recall in the 80s having a RadioShack one that looked more like yours. Metal speaker grill and sharp corners. A cassette recorder was a bit of a bigger deal then so they made it look a bit more stylish and used better material than just a couple of cheap plastic molds.

Mini-Tower with built in 31/2" Teac Floppy Disk Drive
Windows 7
DEVICE=FLP1,\\.\a:,qdos-native
Thanks to the defect of my notebook :‑( I added the USB-disk drive to my (very) old Desktop PC, installed sQLux 1.1.1. and added your DEVICE command to the *.ini file. Windows 10 with USB-disk:
It works :-)))))))
Thank you so much!

Linux
DEVICE=FLP1,/dev/fd0,qdos-native
Will try this with UQLX and Xming on WSL2, when my notebook is repaired. Maybe that UQLX and Mingw is also installed on my old Desktop PC...
BTW: XorA stated in a message that sQLux should work on Windows with WSL2. I have not tested this, but if this is working, this could be the solution for the keyboard problems on none EN-US-keyboards (e.g. German). UQLX with Xming on WSL and WSL2 has had never problems with the keyboard. All keys were working (I think this is done by the UNIX-Emulation). So it may even on Windows be useful to use the sQLux Linux version with WSL(2). Even with an MGG ROM not all keys are okay with sQLx and if you prefer an english speaking QL (like me), it's a horror to switch between English (sQLux - the German.bin has German error messages :-|) - I know the english layout blindly - and the German Layout. The switching is confusing.

Don't expect too much: The sQLux keyboard handling is an entirely new implementation based on SDL rather than X and, provided SDL holds its promises of being platform-independent should work exactly the same on Windows and WSL. (Well, it doesn't between Windows and MacOS, so that promise seems to be broken already...)

That's probably my fault when I picked the pre-cooked key values and not the scan codes.

None of those are already on my site (I have a few lower numbered issues), so it would be nice to make those available!
Nice find, Derek.
