Hi,
I have just got a iMac A1208, for £20, not had, the hard drive will be worth that alone.
It has OSX Tiger 10.4.11, will Q-Emultor run on it?

The current Q-emuLator for Mac requires OS X version 10.5 or later.

I think I have 10.5 or 10.6 on disk around here somewhere. If I haven't thrown them away I'll mail them to you. I'll have a look at the weekend.

Hi Dave,
I have a OSX Tiger 10.4 and OSX Leopard 10.5 Install Disk, and have disk images of the later OSX disks.
I do not like Mac OS, okay the hardware is fine, but the operating system is not good, OK I have a old system, but would expect a dual core CPU to run better.
I will maybe put Linux on it at least there is more update software than this Mac system.
I can not even install Java to run SMSQmulator...

*grins*
That's the opposite side of the same coin of how I feel about QL/E.
Mac OS X is just Unix with a Mach kernel. Blah blah blah!

You forgot with an even more unintuative WIMP environment than QL

As someone mentioned earlier, there are just one or two "sanctified" ways to do a thing on the mac - on the QL there are like 20, plus that one weird method Lau uses, the other weird method Tony uses, and that freakish idea by TT.
Now I sound like a shady ad for SMSQ/E on some tabloid website.
