Hi Simon,
Without disecting the QLE boot process, try pressing ESC on the iniitial boot screen and enter qle_cfg and you can configure QLE that way.
If you find QLE too hard to configure, try Black Phoenix maybe more suitable.
But I think most of the fun in this sort of thing is configuring the way the system boots up

Yes, the easy way is to use the QLECFG program. See seperate thread. With the use of QLECFG you can get a pretty clean QDT Installation running on QL/E. See attached screenshot. All that in seconds, and without having to change a single line of program code.
QL forever!

P.S. I'm thinking of adding ScrapStuff to the QPAC2 family or having a new config item called "Clipboard stuff"

Hi Urs,
Can a graphical QLE_CFG version be written, it was make the configuration easy for someone that is a beginner or not that good at written boot programmes.
I use SMSQmulator JVASGET & JVASPUT commands to get/insert the Operating System Clipboard to Scrap. It only allows samll amounts of data to be inserted into SCRAP due the limitiations on the SCRAP thing. But a nice feature
