I wonder if the Forum admin team have any control over the search facility on the Forum? It seems to reject the most useful search keywords as "too common", for example, try searching for C5 which is rejected as being too short or Sinclair C5 as being too common.
You can work around this to some extent by using google and its site: search facility. In the Google search bar, enter
site:theqlforum.com Sinclair c5
which provides a workaround, even if a bit fiddly.

I wonder if there is a google search plugin for the forum software.

It also annoys me that sometimes when you click on page 2 of search results, it says you need to wait and resubmit the search as you have tried searching too many times....

I know searches on most all forums are tightly restricted (less so if logged in) it's an easy way to bring a forum down by someone mischievous spamming searches.

Two of the words you still can't search for, ironically, are "Sinclair" and "QL" !
I still never seem to be able to find what I'm looking for there and still resort to doing a google site: search.

Further tweaking required then!

Still problems with clicking on p2 or p3 of the search results unfortunately, even if logged on.

I've made some further changes, searching for "Sinclair QL" now works, as do all the pages of results that are returned.
