My new microdrive arrived today

One inch form-factor hard disk. One of my side interest is mechanical miniaturizations -- I also do N-scale railroading...I'd do Z-scale but I'm too old to see it too clearly I could probably never get the train back on the tracks.

A twin monitor arm, for my QL and Q68 to take screens off the desk. Purchased second-hand cheaply on eBay - wasn't expecting much but turned out fine apart from the fact it has no cable clips, so I had to use cable ties.

The Monitor Arm

It arrived dismantled with no instructions, with items individually wrapped in bubble wrap, covered in miles of sticky tape (Grrrr, made it extremely time consuming to unpackage without damaging or losing the smaller items, why do eBay sellers insists on using miles and miles of sticky tape???).
No instructions, so assembly was a bit of guesswork since there various screw sizes, some requiring cross-head screwdriver, some requiring Allen keys (two sizes) and some were thumbscrews. Clamps onto the desk from underneath.
You can mount just the vertical post first, then add the other parts as you go along, which is lucky as clamping to the desk is a bit tricky: you really need three hands, since the under-desk plate has to be held in place while you also hold the post and screw the bolt up tight to grip it in place. The tightening bolt doesn't attach to the plate, though there is a flat nut which screws up against the plate from underneath

Mounted For QL and Q68

Before this, the QL's monitor was free-standing and the old single arm held the Q68 monitor. This setup saves quite a bit of desk space. Now to go and tidy the cables up a bit.

I wonder where that was - as the postcode is no longer registered - no 3BR - but there is a 3RB on the high street.

Were they in the offices by the station I wonder?

Currently GU15 3BR seems to be the "The Agincourt Rock Venue" in Camberley

EDIT: or at least they think it is, but, as you say, it's no longer registered

EDIT 2: it's just a review page, so I guess the venue has long gone

I don't know Camberley very well

For quite a few years, BITD, I used to drive up the A3 to Guildford then up the A322 to Bracknell on a daily basis

That's as close as I got on a regular basis
