Modern connectors - 5.08mm, but old QL connector - 2.54.
Unfortunately, we need only mass production ( big batch ) for QL case to have the resonable price. Case - last big problem.Tesla wrote:Tetroid, It is wonderful.
New motherboard + new keyboard, will we see the new ql soon?
This was exactly my experience too. I had to put a second row of contacts in for the same reason.tetroid wrote:Two rows have parallel connection, because of different connectors have 2.54 or 5.08 mm between rows.

How come the DRAM didn't change from 64Kx1 (x16)?
Can be the ZX Spectrum Next case used for QL/Q68 board?Unfortunately, we need only mass production ( big batch ) for QL case to have the resonable price.
Not ideal as it lacks the function keys.dex wrote:Can be the ZX Spectrum Next case used for QL/Q68 board?
That is mass produced, and we can try some negotiation about suprlus production for QL use.
Beyond that: quite a bit of "getting-used-to" involved if you don't have a ZX Spectrum background.Peter wrote:Not ideal as it lacks the function keys.dex wrote:Can be the ZX Spectrum Next case used for QL/Q68 board?
